The youth project of Diepsloot is currently running its third phase, by which around 20000 youth have been empowered so far. The youth project works on various projects such as entrepreneurship development, skill acquisition, etc., aimed at developing a skilled workforce for the growing economy of South Africa.

Learning IT helps learners acquire the skills they need to enter the workforce, participate in society, take ownership of their lives and become productive members of their community. In return for learning IT, participants commit themselves to volunteering 10 hours per week at one of four local organisations – YMCA, community centre or Childline base – while they learn new skills.
