Many of the poor and marginalized people living in the city don’t have access to proper security training so that they can become crime-free citizens. With this in mind, Diepsloot Youth Project has started a security training school in one of the largest slums of South Africa – Diepsloot. The school aims to impart real-time lessons on various household security skills to make its students increasingly safer.

The curriculum includes topics like digital safety, first aid, fire safety, and how best to safeguard one’s belongings. The instructors are experts who have years of experience and knowledge on how to impart these teachings in a practical way.

The youth of today is a restless one. Finding jobs is becoming difficult, crime is on the rise and the world seems to be gradually closing in upon them. Youth like you need skills that can help you stand out from the crowd.

Diepsloot Security Training School offers that opportunity in full. We impart real-world skills which will not only make you employable but also equip you with the confidence you need to lead a successful and fulfilling life. From basic to advanced courses, our range of classes cater to everyone’s needs, irrespective of age or experience. We have classes daily, so no matter what time it is, there’s always something fun and exciting for everyone!

In an effort to prepare these youth for the future, we launched Diepsloot Youth Project, a school where they can learn how to keep themselves safe online as well as offline. With classes in both soft and hard skills, they will be equipped with everything they need to face any situation.

From learning how to stay anonymous online to staying safe online, there’s one important skill that every student must learn today: personal cyber security.

To catch a criminal.. isn’t it what every cop or detective says? Yes! But, to catch one in the act is even sweeter. Meet Diepsloot Security Training School, the new hangout for crime-committing felons in your neighbourhood. Nestled in the heart of Diepsloot, this school teaches security guards and policemen alike how to hunt down and apprehend criminals. With its immersive curriculum, you’ll be preparing yourself for any situation by the end of it.

With classes that run from 9am to 1pm and 5pm to 7pm on weekdays as well as weekends, it’s never too late to enrol!

Being a security guard is a tough job, and it requires immense dedication and commitment. We at Diepsloot Youth Project believe that our security guards should be ready for anything. That’s why we provide them with comprehensive training that prepares them for any situation they might face on the job. From how to dress professionally to how to interact with customers in a friendly and polite way, our security guards are skilled in all aspects of the trade.

They’re also active participants in the school spirit, cheering on their fellow students during athletics and other competitions. When they’re not working or competing on the track, court, or field, they’re tackling new challenges at our obstacle course or battling it out in our fight club!
