Youth unemployment is a big problem which needs to be addressed immediately. The Youth Project aims to create young entrepreneurs by providing them with the right kind of support and mentorship. Youth from all across South Africa come together for a week of learning, bonding, and growth. They are taught valuable skills pertaining to starting up a business, how to market their product, as well as many more essential qualities that every entrepreneur should have. The Diepsloot Youth Project also helps ease the financial burden on the participants by sponsoring them with a stipend for their stay in the city.
Our youth are our future,” says Diepsloot CEO JP van den Heever. “By helping our youth realize their full potential, we can build strong economies for generations to come.”
Today, children should have their voices heard. They need to be understood and respected, they also deserve a chance to blossom and discover their true potential. Not every child has it easy, but that is why Diepsloot Youth Project exists.
With the support of volunteers and donors, we teach kids valuable life skills that will help them succeed in life. We provide them with the resources they need to get a good education, find a job, and form healthy relationships. The future is bright for these kids – they can do anything!
Youth unemployment is a global issue, and in South Africa it’s a staggering 35 percent. But there is hope, and Diepsloot Youth Project is providing it. The project aims to empower young people and give them the skills they need to find sustainable employment. Classes are offered in subjects including accounting, marketing, and business development, as well as life skills like time management, budgeting, and communication. By the end of the programme, participants will have developed the necessary skills for success in any career path. In addition to classes, participants also have access to career counseling from local experts. As you can see from the program’s name, this youth empowerment project has a heart for South Africa’s youth -and we couldn’t be prouder to be a part of it!
Teenagers are not just any ordinary crowd. They are often accused of committing crimes, running away from home, and causing a chaos in the society. This is why they need special programmes to help them re-integrate and gun down their delinquent ways. Youth Programme in Diepsloot aims to do just that. In partnership with local authorities, the programme intends to address issues like crime, drug usage, and school dropout rates. The project focuses on providing holistic solutions that target both the individual and the larger community.
Diepsloot Youth Project has picked up where schools have left off by teaching teens skills needed for success-like communication and problem solving skills-while also addressing substance abuse and crime.
Youth are the future leaders of this world. It is their right to live in a society where they are empowered and not just seen as a burden on the system. Youth Project aims at providing holistic development of youth by working on their personality, values, skills, and interests. The project has so far helped more than 14000 youth across 60 countries around the world, who have become leaders today.
Join them today and be a part of the youth movement!
