They have the right to education and healthcare, they should be respected in all walks of life, and they ought to receive protection from violence. Join us as we take a stand for young people across South Africa by providing them with access to education, healthcare, skills development, and more!
What if you could help children from vulnerable backgrounds in a fun and engaging way? Meet Diepsloot Youth Project – getting kids to understand their rights and respect themselves is the goal here. And by doing so, they are becoming more confident and productive members of our society. Our programs are designed for children aged 3-16 years old, teaching them about life skills like self-esteem, communication, and conflict resolution through fun activities like art classes, yoga sessions, sports camps etc. If it’s not enough that you can keep coming back to these amazing kids every Sunday morning for a few months every year. All programs run with the support of volunteers who give their time generously without expecting anything in return other than seeing your child blossom as an independent young person.
Youth in despair? Youth that feel forgotten and neglected? Youth that want to make a difference, but don’t know how? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then the Diepsloot Youth Project is for you. We provide youth with an opportunity to develop their human rights skills and take action against injustice in our society. As an independent non-profit organization, we are committed to raising awareness about human rights issues and organizing innovative campaigns on their behalf.
Our programs include workshops on human rights, leadership development, and community engagement. We also organize training sessions for young South Africans on social networks like Twitter and Facebook so that they can be effective advocates for change in their communities.
