Youth Project is your opportunity to start a new journey with us; one where you can be a part of the change. Join us today!

How well do you know your local police? Do you know when they receive assistance from Diepsloot Youth Project? The answer may surprise you but it is a fact that the SAPS receives assistance from this project in terms of development and safety programmes. What’s more is that these programmes are carried out in partnership with the youth group, aiming to make our police forces more effective and accountable.

We salute you, the heroes who serve us by day and night!

The SAPS is an organisation that is there for you when you need it most. You can count on them to be there for you whenever you need them, day or night. They are your friend and ally in times of difficulty or danger. They are there to help, guide and protect you. And they are working hard to make the world a safer place.

DYP is proud to partner with the SAPS and offer our assistance where we can. We run safety programmes in schools and communities, teaching kids how to stay safe on the streets and avoid becoming victims of crime. We also run practical sessions where participants learn how to be more aware of their surroundings so they can spot suspicious activity and report any incidents as soon as possible.

We believe in working together to make Diepsloot a safer place, so join us today!

Youth unemployment is on the rise, and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to find a job that matches one’s skillset or passion. At Diepsloot Youth Project, we understand the importance of providing young people with effective ways to improve their skills and build long-term success. With this in mind, we’ve partnered with the SAPS to provide youth with opportunities to develop marketable skills while also building a deeper understanding of the safety needs of law enforcement.

Our programs are designed to be engaging and interactive, and we believe that by investing in our community’s youth, we’re making a positive impact on our communities for years to come.

When we say that children should be seen and not heard, so should law enforcement agencies. Unfortunately, for a lot of them, it is the latter who does not see and hear in the same manner. The Diepsloot Youth Project is searching for ways to change this perception.

The youth project takes assistance from the SAPS where they can in their development and safety programmes. They also assist the SAPS where they can to change these perceptions about law enforcement agencies. They do this by adopting the kids whose parents have been incarcerated or those living in crime-ridden neighbourhoods with low police presence.
