The scourge of child rape in our society is something we all condemn, fight and try to eradicate. But every now and then, we come across cases where this heinous crime flourishes. When we got a tip about a case like this, we knew we had to act. The Diepsloot Youth Project has been fighting child rape for years now, and they’re changing society one life at a time.
Child rape has no place in our society, and the perpetrators will be brought to book. The Diepsloot Youth Project is working towards ensuring that all forms of sexual offence against children are taken seriously and offenders are punished.
A child is only as strong as his or her guardian, so we encourage guardianship of children at every level. If a child doesn’t feel safe at home, he or she can be referred to us. We offer counselling services, youth services like the Diepsloot Youth Project and other programs for kids who need support. We want our kids to grow up feeling safe and protected in their environment – because that’s the only way they’ll grow up stronger!

Child abuse is a heinous crime, yet shockingly, it exists in our society.
There’s nothing more indescribable than being an innocent kid and getting subjected to such atrocities. We’re all aware of the effect of child abuse, but have you ever wondered what it means for the victims? What does it do to their lives? How do they recover from it? Well, we all have our own way of processing things and reaching peace, but never mind that now- the important thing is to understand your child’s trauma and heal him/her from within.
Child rape occurs in every walk of life and caste, and is a heinous crime. In the impoverished township of Diepsloot in Johannesburg, child rape has become a problem that needs to be addressed.
The youth of Diepsloot are standing up against child rape, and want to make sure that no child suffers this heinous crime in their community. They’ve started a project called ‘Diepsloot Youth Project’ to fight this evil and make sure that every kid grows up safe and secure.
Child rape is nothing but a crime against humanity. We all feel disgusted when we hear about such incidents, but know that this crime is rampant in our own cities.
Procedures are in place to ensure that culprits are brought to book, but there are many more children who have been raped and traumatized by these perverts. Please join us in standing up for the victims and making sure that these animals get the maximum punishment possible!
