A Church robbery in Diepsloot has increased the fear among people and has made them suspicious of everyone and everything. In case you’re wondering how this church robbery happened, it was when a group of about 20-25 youth came on foot. They entered through the back and tied up the victim. Once they had everything under control, they ransacked the place and took some valuables like laptops, tablets etc. The police were called but by that time, those who entered were already gone from the place making it all the more difficult for investigators to crack the case.
The youth of a community should be its flag-bearer and protector. If a place is to be called ‘home’, it should be free from crime and fear. Sadly, this isn’t the case for many of us in Diepsloot.

Diepsloot Youth Project Church robbery adds to spate of crime in the area. The church located in Diepsloot was held up at gunpoint on Monday night. The robbers made away with a huge amount of cash and valuables. Sources say that the one-of-its-kind church is located on Vaal Street and belongs to Diepsloot Youth Project Church.
A church in Diepsloot, Johannesburg, was robbed for the second time in less than a month. On Sunday afternoon, the Diepsloot Youth Project Church was ransacked by a gang of robbers. A few minutes before 1pm, four men entered the church and tied up the security guard at gunpoint. They then made their way to the office and stole money and valuables.
