It’s Monday, and that means it’s time for the Youth Project at Diepsloot Oratile ECD Centre! This project is run by the Youth Services division of Diepsloot. It’s a place where young adults can go to work on their personal development and find meaning in their lives.

The projects they run range from helping others in need to learning new skills and developing their potential. The youth themselves are some of the most motivated individuals you’ll ever meet – they’re eager to change the world for the better, and they never give up.

The youth in our area have a lot of potential, but they need more opportunities to shine. The Diepsloot Youth Project wants to change that. We believe that every young person has the capacity to make a positive impact on their community, and we’re committed to supporting them in doing just that. Through our centres and programmes, we provide them with the resources they need to realise their full potential – so they can become leaders who contribute to their community’s prosperity.

Earlier today, I came across a group of young people who were making up for lost time by playing cricket in Diepsloot. I was wondering how they had the time to play, but then I understood – it’s because of the Youth Project.

This is one such initiative from Diepsloot Youth Project which has been committed to providing all round development and guidance for youth in the area. They have classes for kids, as well as events like cricket tournaments that keep them engaged and connected with the world around them. free and safe place for abandoned, street-delinquent, and juvenile delinquents to rehabilitate and build a new life.

Our center offers programs that teach life skills like how to read and write, how to manage money, etc., as well as vocational training that prepares youth for jobs that respect their human dignity. We also provide them with shelter and meals so that they can focus on turning their lives around for the better.

Youth in this era are going through various phases of life, and so are their choices. Often, they’re changing their preferences as they experience new things and tastes. However, at Diepsloot Youth Project (DY Project), we believe that youth have a right to choose what suits them best. That’s why we run an Oratile ECD centre where the youth can learn about various hair and beauty products without having to go anywhere else.

Through various classes, they can select the best product for their hair type and texture. They’ll be able to figure out which product will work for them, allowing them to enjoy the most luxurious of hairstyles without worrying about damage or breakage.
