The answer lies in the youth of Diepsloot. They are committing crimes like burglaries and robberies because they don’t know any better. Police is doing its bit to teach them right from wrong and make their way in life. It’s time we came together as a community and take up this project with open hands!

DYPRO is one such program where kids learn how to be part of a community and how to work towards improving their surroundings. They learn problem solving skills and teamwork while having fun doing it! A great way to give back to the community while making a difference!

Diepsloot is one of the most dangerous townships in South Africa. It’s so dangerous that even its youth are choosing to stay indoors. But this is changing with the Diepsloot Youth Project, which is empowering children living there to stand up and make a change!
The project is run by Street Child International, a global nonprofit organization that uses education and advocacy to end crime and poverty. They partner with young people like Tebogo to give them the skills they need to become productive members of society and make Diepsloot safer for everyone.
