Youth living in the poor community of Diepsloot are under immense pressure to succeed, and they’re not getting enough support to overcome it. But this project is changing that. For over a decade, the Youth Project has supported young adults in finding their purpose, developing new skills, and building businesses that will change their lives for the better.

DIEPSLOOT provides them with the resources they need to achieve their goals – from education programs that help prepare them for careers to business support that teaches them how to be successful entrepreneurs. There’s no limit on what can be accomplished when we provide a supportive environment in which youth can thrive.

Youth is the future but what about their future? Our youth project in Diepsloot, South Africa has a vision to change the perception of a city by providing quality education and creating opportunities for them. A drive that is not limited by any geographical limitations but also ensures gender equality in every level. Diepsloot Youth Project is located at Bambani mall in Diepsloot, Johannesburg. The new project has taken up residence there following its official launch on 11th November 2018. This spacious building houses many educational institutes, many of them being close to your heart, one being the renowned University of Johannesburg where you can study global business or communication, etc.

It’s just 2-3 minutes walk from the mall straight to Diepsloot Youth Project and it’s worth visiting!

Youth are the future of the country, and they need to be empowered and given a chance to take part in making it a better place. That’s why we at Diepsloot Youth Project believe in empowering youth through various projects. To start with, we run programs that aim to provide holistic development and impart important entrepreneurial skills. We also run a school for underprivileged children where they get tuition as well as exposure to soft skills like grooming and etiquette. Finally, we run camps that are fun and engaging for both the kids and their families!

Youth unemployment is a major concern in modern-day India. It’s not just about having a good career — it’s about finding a balance between work and personal life. We understand that, which is why we’ve set up Diepsloot Youth Project (DYP). DYP is a free resource for all youth who want to learn new skills, explore their interests and try new things. The program offers various classes and workshops on subjects like art, fashion, music, cooking and more. Those interested can also sign up for volunteer opportunities, where they can gain valuable work experience while making a difference in their community.
