Do you know that every third child in South Africa lives in poverty? Kids are especially vulnerable to this cause, and many of them don’t even realize it. We want to change that! The Diepsloot Youth Project is here to help. We provide free education and life-skills classes to kids living in poverty so they can have a better future. Diepsloot Youth Project’s (DYP) aim is to raise awareness among the youth of Diepsloot City, Johannesburg. The idea behind DYP is simple: by preparing the youth for life after school, we believe that we’ll see an improvement in their lives and betterment of the area around them.

DYP goes beyond just teaching kids about life; it also teaches them how to handle tough situations and how to stand for what’s right. People from all walks of life come together to create a peaceful space where everyone feels safe, accepted, and valued. This is why DYP is changing lives one day at a time!

Youth Project aims to cater to this changing mindset of urban teens by creating innovative programs that encourage them to think beyond the box.

Youth Project Diepsloot presents an exciting new program that seeks to do just that – encourage youth to think outside the box. The Youth Project Diepsloot program comprises of activities such as cooking class, movie screening, photography workshop and much more! All these activities are aimed at breaking boundaries and creating an all-inclusive space for teenaged minds.
