It is no secret that the youth of today are in search of meaning and purpose in life. We believe that providing this opportunity can be a great way to make a difference around the world.

In 2016, we initiated our first Diepsloot Youth Project, which is supported by UNICEF and involves schools from across South Africa. For over 80% of the R700000 donated, they have been able to provide uniforms, school supplies, and transportation for disadvantaged youth in Diepsloot. These children face many challenges, such as being away from their families or facing poverty on their own. But thanks to our project, these children now have a brighter future ahead of them.

A youth project that boasts of a massive presence and reach, Diepsloot Youth Project is changing lives across South Africa with its holistic approach to child development. It’s an educational program with a difference – one that teaches life-skills, builds self-esteem and promotes healthy living. Set up in 2002 by social workers, psychologists and educators, DYP aims to teach children the importance of teamwork through fun activities like sports, arts and cooking classes.

DYP is more than just a program; it’s a way of life. And today we’re celebrating 4 years of change in communities all over South Africa.

Youth is wasted when it is not being utilized in the best possible manner. We understand that, which is why we have started a youth project in Diepsloot. It’s not just about teaching them stuff but about respecting them and understanding where they are coming from. The Youth Project Diepsloot Combined School helps these kids become self-reliant individuals by giving them the opportunity to acquire skills and build relationships that will last a lifetime.

Do you know what they say? ‘Youth without a cause is wasted youth’!
