Diepsloot Youth Project, is a youth empowerment project run by the Diepsloot Community Action in partnership with South Africa’s largest non-profit group, 1Goal1. The goal of this project is to uplift and empower the community through Education, Vocational Training, and Enterprise Development.

Diepsloot Youth Project aims to promote holistic development among children and young adults by engaging them in various educational and social activities. They also run vocational training courses that aim at equipping participants with the necessary skills they will need to find employment in their chosen industry. In addition, they organize various sports tournaments that provide an excellent opportunity for young people to get together and enjoy themselves without any worries about safety or respect for one another. All of these endeavors are made possible thanks to the generous donations from people like you!

Diepsloot Youth Project ( DyP) is a youth development organisation that has its eyes set on empowering the community by educating and helping them attain skills that will help them become employable. No one should feel like they are a burden on society or unable to contribute, and that’s why DyP is here.

DyP organises seminars, workshops, training sessions and talks to create an awareness about mental health, gender issues, HIV/AIDS prevention and more. They also run vocational programs such as tailoring, computer and stenography so that youth can acquire life skills that will make them productive citizens.

Diepsloot Youth Project strives for a better tomorrow for all its children and believes each individual has the right to grow up in a peaceful environment.

When someone mentions youth development, you might imagine a bunch of kids in a classroom learning new things. But what if that place was different? What if that was your local community where everyone is involved and contributing to its growth?

Diepsloot Youth Project is changing the way we see youth development. By engaging residents in education, vocational training, and enterprise development, they are empowering the community to reach their full potential. When everyone is working together for the betterment of their community, life becomes easier and success becomes possible!

Diepsloot is a place where people live and die with no regrets. In fact, the youth in this area of Johannesburg have always been seen as some of the strongest and most determined in the city. And now it’s your turn to give these kids some recognition and support!

The Diepsloot Youth Project is a community action that uplifts and empowers the community through education, vocational training, and enterprise development. The project aims to reduce poverty by equipping young people with marketable skills so they can access employment opportunities.

When our youth are not busy studying or hanging out with their friends, they are busy working for a worthy cause. Youth empowerment has been the motto of DYP for the last 30 years and there is no better way to empower them than by engaging them in community service. The Diepsloot Youth Project offers skill development and employment opportunities to the community’s most-needy young people.

Young people who have nothing to lose can take up a job that provides an opportunity and earns them money, while at the same time helping others uplift themselves. This is just one of the ways in which we hope to contribute towards a more dignified life for some of our youth while also improving our society as a whole.
