The residents of Diepsloot are no stranger to crime and violence. Over the years, they have developed an almost journalistic expertise in calling out the police whenever it happens. Today, they woke up to a new addition to their neighbourhood – a brand new police station! And they’re all thrilled about it!

Glad to see that things are finally changing for the better around here. We hope to see more such initiatives soon and wish you all the very best for it!

The youth of Diepsloot deserve a safe haven where they can live their lives to the fullest. And now, thanks to the Diepsloot Youth Project, they finally have it. The project has just completed construction on a brand new police station in the area. Not only is it a safe haven for the youth of Diepsloot, it also functions as a community center where people can meet and socialize over a cup of coffee or some food. A win-win situation for everyone!

Many have seen the youth in a new light after the project was launched by Diepsloot Local Municipality. The aim of the Youth Project is to create positive engagement with the youth and bring about change in their lives. To achieve this, volunteers from all walks of life have come forward to create an environment where they feel comfortable and safe.

This new police station is one of its kind and will make Diepsloot a safer place to live, work, and visit.
