For over 25 years, this youth-led project has been providing holistic services and support to the underprivileged, marginalized, and at-risk youth of Diepsloot. Through various programs like social work, education, healthcare, and more, they are helping these young ones realize their full potential and build a bright tomorrow.

Diepsloot Youth Project is a youth initiative that aims to empower the youth of Diepsloot by providing them with a platform to express themselves, connect with like-minded individuals and build a sense of belonging. It also strives to inculcate values in the youth such as leadership, encourage self-esteem, etc.
The end goal is to bring about positive change in the society by building an ecosystem for strong citizens who are equipped with all the necessary skills for success.

One of the biggest problems San Fran has is youth unemployment. Why? Because they’re bored and restless, with nothing to do. That’s why we created Diepsloot Youth Project – to give them something productive to do!
We run workshops in various areas of interest, like coding, fashion, and music. All sessions are provided for free, so that the kids can learn new skills while also gaining some much-needed income. And guess what? They get to keep all the profits they make! Isn’t that just pure genius? Why hasn’t this been done before?
‘How was your first day of school?’ These are the questions we often get asked, even though most of us have already graduated. It’s important to remember that education is a lifelong pursuit, and one we are committed to helping you achieve. That’s why we created Diepsloot Youth Project – a place where you can find all the resources you need to continue your education and achieve your goals. We offer classes in a variety of subjects, both traditional and innovative, and our mentorship program will help guide you every step of the way.
