Finding a quiet study area can be difficult, especially as you get older. But at Diepsloot Youth Project’s library in Johannesburg, there is a place where you can be undisturbed and focus on your work. The library has a study area which provides a quiet place for those who wish to do so. There’s also Wi-Fi available for free so that you can access the internet or stream videos without disturbance.
The Diepsloot Youth Project is making an effort to improve access to information through libraries and reading rooms in areas where this service is most needed. They have over 100 book titles available, and are continuing to add new titles every month. They believe that books are a powerful tool for education, literacy, and development, so they’re committed to making them accessible for all of their patrons – both young and old!
It’s a well-known fact that reading books can be the gateway to knowledge. While some love to read non-stop, there are those who find peace in just sitting and savouring a book. Diepsloot Youth Project is taking this ideology further by providing a library space where people can sit and savour books to their heart’s content. Located near Diepsloot train station, the library has Wi-Fi enabled so that you can access the internet while you sit idle in between books!
Diepsloot Youth Project is living its own motto – ‘Serve in Diversity’ – by providing a welcoming space for everyone who visits it.
A young man’s quest for knowledge ends up at a Diepsloot library. DYP Diepsloot Youth Project is home to a study area where you can go quiet and get your work done. Plus, Wi-Fi is available for free in the library.
There’s also a children’s area where kids can read books and do their homework together. The staff at DYP understand that knowledge is power and they want to empower people with it. For that reason, they offer various courses on topics like maths, science, and more.
With a well-stocked book section and comfortable yet noisy study area, the Diepsloot Youth Project library is a great place for those who wish to be alone and get some work done. Wi-Fi is also available for free so that you can connect with friends and family using your laptop or smartphone.
The Diepsloot Youth Project is a great initiative that reaches out to the community of young people in need and tries to help them in every possible way. The youth are provided with the opportunity to learn new things, develop their skills, and become more responsible citizens of our great nation. The project encourages them to adopt a healthy lifestyle, help others in need, and be part of the solution instead of being part of the problem.

We are a non-profit organization that runs a library that primarily aims at providing young minds with books. We also try our best to inculcate reading habits among kids by organizing programs and events.
