Diepsloot residents are fed up with illegal immigrants entering the area. A protest was organised by the Youth Project of Diepsloot to express their displeasure. The youth gathered near a school and tore posters bearing slogans that read, “Keep out of our area” and “Illegal immigration is not welcome here.” They also burnt effigies of ‘unwanted’ guests.
The Youth Project believes that every neighbourhood should be safe for children and not be used as a foothold for crime.
Earlier this month, residents and workers of Diepsloot expressed their anger over the continuous influx of illegal immigrants into the area. In a restrictive action, hundreds of people went on a march and protested at the local police station to demand immediate steps to stop these migrants from entering the area. The rally was a part of a project called ‘Diepsloot Youth Project‘, which aims to educate youths about global issues and develop them as young leaders.
Illegal immigrants have no place in our neighborhood, they should go back where they came from! This was the reason why youths from Diepsloot staged a protest today. Not just that, they also raised awareness about the plight of homeless and underprivileged people living in their streets.
Cleanliness is next to godliness, and Diepsloot Youth Project ensures that by taking out time every Sunday to clean up the streets. They do it because of the love they have for their community and want everyone to be safe and sound. So join them and make a difference in this world!
In the past few years, there has been an influx of illegal immigrants that is increasing day by day. Residents in Diepsloot are fed up with these illegal immigrants and want their number to be controlled. They recently held a protest rally in the area, demanding stricter action against them.
It’s high time we do something about this influx of illegal immigrants. The government should take strict action against them as they are a threat to our national security.
Diepsloot residents are fed up with illegal immigrants plying their locality and misusing public facilities, like schools and hospitals.
So they decided to do something about it! Residents gathered on Saturday morning and marched towards the local police station, demanding action against the infiltrators. The police promptly arrested 13 people and have started an investigation.
