There are many ways to contribute to the society, but what about contributing to a school? Yes, that too in a youth project. When Sanjay Gupta, Yojana Dhan, CEO of Diepsloot Youth Project heard about this project put together by the students of Diepsloot Secondary School 3, he decided to take an initiative towards it.

In the name of making their schools better places for future generations, students from this school are growing their own vegetable garden and harvesting them monthly for donation at the local community food bank. The program’s aim is to teach the importance of sustainability and environmentalism in order to make a difference in the world around us.
