There are many youth who want to do something different and want to make their mark in this world. They want to leave a mark and that is where Diepsloot Youth Project comes into play. It is an initiative that helps young people find their niche in life where they can contribute and grow. With programs like Youth Leadership and Media, they are able to learn new skills while dealing with their problems and also contributing towards society by driving cabs for the elderly or riding bikes for beneficiaries like UTHNMs.

Young leaders like Siyabulela Dikostotha (Team captain from Diepsloot Youth Project), Ruanelene Maseko (Team captain from Diepsloot Youth Project) or Thulani Neshamanyele (Team captain from Diepsloot Youth Project) are changing the mindset of people around them by showing them that you can be successful even if you don’t follow convention!
