PotholeFixGP is a comprehensive mobile app that enables users to report potholes on their roads and request urgent repairs. The app was launched by Diepsloot Youth Project in partnership with Johannesburg Roads Agency, Gauteng Department of Transport and the City of Johannesburg. The aim of the project is to increase road safety and maintenance in Diepsloot through an effective digital platform.
Users can locate nearby potholes on the map and report them for urgent patching. In addition to this, users are also able to track repairs on the road from their devices, so they can be kept informed about any changes that might affect their travel time.
