When communities start to deteriorate, it’s time to act. Youth Project is a non-profit organization that tackles the issues affecting youth in Diepslott, South Africa. Youth Project gives tools and resources that can improve the quality of life for children and young people in the community. Through its programs and activities, youth are empowered to take action for themselves and their communities, making a positive difference wherever they are. Youth Project is committed to improving the lives of those who need it most – young people – by empowering them with the skills they need to thrive in today’s rapidly changing world.

A staggering 35% of the population living in Diepsloot is below the age of 25, which poses a problem in the form of unemployment and over-population. In order to tackle this problem, the Diepsloot Youth Project was created. The project aims at providing tools for improvement and enhancement to the youth of this community.

The project offers classes like Spoken English, App Development, Painting, Sewing, Barbering, T-Shirts and more. They are held on weekends at various locations in Diepsloot where young people have access to educational tools that will help them improve their lives.

The youth of Diepsloot are in need of life improvement tools. That is why the Diepsloot Youth Project has been created to help these young individuals develop into well-rounded individuals.

The DYP provides its clients with a variety of services that will help them on their journey to becoming successful adults. Services include: tutoring, mentoring, and job training. All of this is provided free of charge so that no one is turned away due to financial constraints. The goal of the DYP is to help every youth reach their full potential so that they can be successful members of society.

When you think of a youth project, what comes to mind? A group of volunteers helping out the underprivileged in your neighborhood, right? But Diepsloot Youth Project is an initiative that aims at improving the lives of the locals by empowering them with life skills and tools. The youth and their volunteers walk hand-in-hand in the community to teach valuable lessons like social acceptance, financial literacy, and more.

DYPRO has also started a scholarship for disadvantaged youth who want to climb higher but lack the resources to do so. This program is aimed at providing them with opportunities and building them up from scratch.

With Diepsloot Youth Project’s support, children are provided with tools that will help them succeed in life whatever path they choose. From education to employment, sports or arts & crafts – kids are learning new skills every day under their watchful eye! This project not only gives these kids a leg up but also teaches them how to become responsible citizens who can take pride in their community and contribute positively towards its growth and development.
