Who said that only old people can be inspiring? Today we are celebrating graduates of a youth project on the corner of Diepsloot and Craigie Drives in Johannesburg.

This project is run by volunteers from around the world who come together to give back to the community they call home. The projects aim is to create change through education and well-being, as well as promoting gender equality and acceptance. It is a place where young people can learn new skills and develop their full potential, while making friends for life. Besides being an amazing place to work, it’s also a great example of how we can all make a difference in our communities!

Who says that growing up has to be boring and monotonous? Not in the case of Diepsloot Youth Project! Graduating seniors this year have thrown all conventional ways of celebrating out the window, and are living life in its fullest.

DYP is all about promoting positivity, helping others, and empowering youth. These grads embody that spirit and want to take it forward with them. So they’ve decided to celebrate this milestone in an exciting fashion – by hosting a grad bash! With lots of games, fun, and live music, the event is sure to be a night to remember. And what better way to finish it off than with a cake-cutting ceremony?

So, you’re graduating soon! For many Graduations are an exciting time, but also a bit daunting. You always want to make a great first impression, and you want everything to run efficiently so that you don’t mess up on your last day at work. Well, we’ve got your back! We know that Graduations are about more than just a job title – they’re about personal growth and achievements. Join us as we celebrate the accomplishments of these young leaders and see how their lives have changed for the better since coming to DYP!

Graduations are about celebrating achievement with friends and family, and having fun while doing it! We’ll have food trucks on-site for you to grab some grub on-the-go, live music from local talents, and more!

It’s time to say goodbye to Diepsloot Youth Project Graduations. This year, the program is celebrating its 10-year milestone with an array of festivities. The celebrations began with a reception and dinner on 30 June 2018, followed by a graduation ceremony held on 6 July 2018. Hundreds of alumni, volunteers, and supporters gathered at the Diepsloot Community Hall for the event.

The program aims to empower youth and give them tools to achieve their full potential in life. It welcomes young adults who are looking to make a change in their lives but need support along the way. Through mentorship, education, and job opportunities, they will be able to overcome any obstacle that comes their way.
