Immigration officials deployed to Diepsloot! As per the instruction of the Home Ministry, a team of immigration department officials arrived in Diepsloot to carry out raids on illegal aliens. These immigration raids are being conducted across India, as part of a nationwide operation called ‘Project Cleartrap.’
The Operation aims to identify and deport illegal immigrants who have entered the country undetected. Under Operation Cleartrap, immigration officials are stationed in every district and state to conduct raids and identify undocumented persons. The objective is to enhance security and social integration in the country.
On a daily basis, we come across newspaper articles and social media posts highlighting the negative effects of illegal immigration. However, what about the side of immigration? How do things really look like in a place where people are illegally immigrating? A small community called Diepsloot in Johannesburg, South Africa is helping answer this question.
The Diepsloot Youth Project is a group that aims to create awareness about the plight of immigrants. They hold weekly workshops where they teach children about different cultures and religions, and help them understand why people choose to immigrate. The youth program also runs activities related to citizenship that teaches children about the rules and regulations required while living in a particular country.
By spreading awareness and teaching children to respect others regardless of their religion or culture, the youth project is not just making Diepsloot a better place; it’s making our world a better place by becoming an inspiration for others!
When the immigration department comes knocking on your door, it’s an indication that you have been followed by fraudsters. That is when a crime is committed by someone who is trying to commit fraud. In this case, a Modate Youth Project contingent was deployed to Diepsloot to spread awareness regarding immigration issues amongst the citizens of Diepsloot. The youth project team comprised of volunteers and professionals who wanted to make a difference in their community.
Immigration officials have been deployed in Diepsloot to address the issues pertaining to illegal immigrants. The deployment has been initiated following a directive from our Hon’ble Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, announced in his Mann Ki Baat on 1st January 2019.
The youth of Diepsloot have come forward and offered their help to the immigration officials in de-protecing the local area by identifying and sending back undocumented immigrants. A big thank you to them for helping out!
The Diepsloot Youth Project wants you to ask immigration officials a question today.
Whether you know him as Sifiso, or not, Sifiso is one of the many boys and girls trying to find his place in the world today. He’s hoping to find a safe and stable home where he can belong and feel valued. Sifiso doesn’t speak much English, so it can be hard for him to express his needs and desires. That’s why DYP is there for him: helping him navigate the world around him and understanding how he feels about everything that’s going on.
Don’t miss out on another chance to show your support for Sifiso – ask immigration officials at your local airport or bus stop today what they’re doing to help kids like him!
