Diepsloot Youth Project is a registered charity that offers various services and programs to the underprivileged youth residing in the community. The project also focuses on developing and imparting skills to these youth so as to help them get employed.

The project has been working tirelessly to make a change in the lives of these youths, and we hope that you’ll join us on this journey!

Diepsloot, a township in Johannesburg, is undergoing a lot of development. Newly-built buildings are sprouting here and there, and people are moving to the area from different parts of the country in search of greener pastures.

But what about the youth who live there? What do they have to look forward to once they grow up? Is there anything that can provide them with a sense of purpose or direction?

A recent study has suggested some answers. Diepsloot Youth Project has taken it upon themselves to develop creative ways of engaging young people in projects that will contribute towards making their community a better place to live in.

Diepsloot youth spend an average of R1300 on everyday items. The only thing they seem to be spending less on is food, which makes sense given that many of them are jobless and need their money for survival. While some manage to get a small amount from family and friends, some have to work hard to earn money for both food and house rent.

The Diepsloot Youth Project aims to change that by generating income for the youth in the area through various means. While some of them work as freelancers or run small businesses, others teach crafts or take classes at local schools. They help shape the next generation by imparting important life skills such as financial literacy and entrepreneurship.

Let’s change the future of Diepsloot by changing the way they spend! Visit www.diepslootyouthproject.co.za today!
