Y’all have heard of Teen Lagoon, but have you heard of Diepsloot Youth Project?

Diepsloot Youth Project is a non-profit organization that aims to provide teenagers in the area with meaningful programs and activities that can help them develop their full potential. The youth project provides teens with a variety of educational and enrichment programs that are designed to help them develop key life skills, such as financial literacy, communication skills, and self-confidence. In addition to these programs, the youth project also runs after school tutoring sessions for both math and English.

By providing young people with high quality programming that helps them learn new skills and improve their overall well-being, DYP hopes to reduce the number of delinquent or troubled teens in the area. By empowering young people with the knowledge and resources they need to succeed, DYP is helping them reach their full potential.

We believe that every teenager is entitled to quality education, healthcare, and personal development.We are striving towards this goal one child at a time. We provide them with these essentials as well as guidance for their future. In return, we demand that they take responsibility for their actions and strive hard to achieve their goals.

Teenagers are known to be the most impulsive and risk-taking species on the planet. They have unique needs that go unnoticed by their parents and educators, but Diepsloot Youth Project is changing it for the better.

Since 2007, DYP has been working hard to change the lives of teenagers in South Africa through various programs and initiatives. From financial empowerment programs, to health awareness sessions, DYP is making a difference by promoting positivity and peace amongst our teens. We thank you all for your support!
