The youth of today are facing a number of issues, some as serious as the unemployment problem, while others as trivial as peer pressure. To make a difference in the lives of the youth, Diepsloot Youth Project was created.

DYP is creating brighter futures for thousands of youth across South Africa by providing them with valuable life skills and opportunities to grow. We do this by offering programs that provide a comprehensive education, including access to quality vocational training, life skills such as financial literacy, and community involvement. Our programs not only help young people reach their full potential; they also contribute greatly to their local communities.

No one should have to live the way they do. Every day, children turn up at our non-profit’s projects in Diepsloot with a new story of how they’ve been mistreated or abused.
