Diepsloot Youth Project is a specialised service that provides the youth of Diepsloot with accessible and comprehensive services. We offer a wide range of services to assist youths in achieving their goals, including education, development and employment programmes. We also offer social interventions like counselling and mentoring services, which are specially designed to address the needs of our participants.

By providing these services, we hope to improve the lives of the youths living in our community by empowering them with the skills necessary for success.

As the name suggests, this project is for the youth residing in the neighbourhood. Youth who are involved in crime and getting into trouble can now turn to Diepsloot Youth Project, a community organization that offers a variety of services to help troubled youth find redemption and start fresh.

Offering a safe haven for those who need a second chance, Diepsloot Youth Project provides assistance in areas such as education, employment, health and substance abuse. With programs and services tailored to meet individual needs, DYP strives to help every young person achieve their full potential. Who says coming home is all about tradition and celebrating your roots? Not us. In fact, we believe that every neighbourhood has its own way of celebrating and representing itself.

And when we say Diepsloot Youth Project, it means celebrating the culture of the community with the youth! The annual Diepsloot Youth Project event is held every year on a Sunday in June. It celebrates the culture of the neighbourhood and brings smiles to people’s faces by participating in various traditional activities like tappi, bhangra, boi-bhaag, etc.
