You aren’t sure where you want to end up, but you believe that there must be more to life than surviving on the streets. Then Diepsloot Youth Project enters your life.

This non-profit organisation is working tirelessly to support the youth in one of the most impoverished areas in South Africa. Their goal is simple: help young people realize their potential by providing them with education, employment, and other opportunities that enable them to reach their full potential as productive citizens. They understand that change takes time, so they’re committed to helping the youth of Diepsloot overcome their challenges so that they can become contributing members of society.

A youth project is never a smooth path but Diepsloot Youth Project has been making steady progress and has already reached out to many youths in the area. The organisation aims to empower marginalised youth and assist them in accessing various services. From providing career guidance to counselling, they have it all covered with an aim of giving every youth a chance.

Diepsloot Youth Project is one such organisation who believes in giving back to the society at large and also expects every member of this world to do so!

Youth are the future of a country and should therefore be empowered by imparting knowledge and skills to them. We believe in that and that’s why we have been working for over a decade now to give youth of Diepsloot the training, knowledge and skills they need to become successful adults. Our classes are interactive and fun, and students quickly pick up new skills that will be useful no matter what they do in life.

DYP believes that every child is important, so we cover all city schools to give disadvantaged youth access to education. We also provide jobs and healthcare services so they can break out of poverty and become contributing members of society.

We know that children are the future, so we make our utmost effort to see that they get the best start in life.

DYPRO is an all-encompassing youth development program. The project offers various services such as education, health and nutrition, skill development, and livelihood training to curb the root cause of their disadvantages. It also focuses on building character and confidence so that they can contribute to society as positive citizens.

It is not easy to live in a slum and especially, when you’re a kid. But that’s exactly what Diepsloot Youth Project aims to change – taking on the responsibility of providing shelter and care for kids in need. Delivering services round the clock, this organization offers a helping hand to children facing adversity, delinquency, abuse, and other problems.

Through its various programs, the youth project endeavors to promote moral and personal development among its residents. They offer computer education classes, English classes, Gyan classes, career counseling sessions – you name it! In addition to this, they also provide nutritious meals twice a day for all kids living there without fail!
