DYP is all about ‘giving back’ to the community. For the past 20 years, DYP has been providing programs and services that help children and youth in need reach their full potential. Programs include educational classes, youth development workshops, recreational activities, and more! Whether it’s a child who is struggling in school or a young person who needs guidance and support, DYP offers programs that can help them succeed.

DYP understands that not all children are happy or have the same opportunities when they grow up. That’s why we provide an environment that promotes diversity, acceptance, and equality. We strive to create a safe space where all children feel accepted and appreciated for who they are – no matter their race, gender, sexuality, or abilities.

Youth is an important segment of the population that needs to be taken as seriously as adults. Every age has its own skills, abilities, and interests. The youth of today need support in all these aspects and Diepsloot Youth Project ensures that they get it. Founded in 2013, this non-profit organisation aims to make a positive difference in the lives of children and adolescents by providing them with opportunities, resources, and services that enable them to reach their full potential. Through programs like education, nutrition, and health & safety, they empower young people to become leaders in their communities.

We help the abandoned and destitute children in Diepsloot to develop their skills and personalities so that they can lead happy and productive lives. We provide them with everything from food to education and medical care, which is why we’re called ‘The Angel of Diepsloot’. We help more than 3000 children every year, and our services are free for them. We have opened several schools in the area, where children are given free meals, education, and healthcare.

Our volunteers also visit the kids regularly to make sure they’re getting everything they need and to build relationships with them. By nurturing these kids, we aim to give them a chance at a better life – where they won’t face abuse or neglect anymore!

Children need opportunities to grow and learn. Youth Project was founded to provide just that for young people in Diepsloot. With its diverse programs, the Youth Project offers young people a variety of ways to explore the world around them. Whether they’re interested in music, art, or volunteering, there’s a program at the Youth Project that will give them the opportunity they need to become the best version of themselves.
