We’ve all heard that saying that every child is born with a talent or skill. For some, it might be painting, writing or playing an instrument. For others, it might be dancing or cooking. But what about Diepsloot? We bet you haven’t heard of this before!

Roots Diepsloot is the youth program run by Diepsloot Youth Project. The program aims to get children connected to nature and their roots while teaching them valuable life skills. The program runs for 8 weeks and is conducted on weekends, where kids learn how to build treehouses, make mud pies, tie knots and much more!

Roots Diepsloot is all set to change that perception with its awe-inspiring work. For the past five years, this youth project has been changing lives through the power of education. Through classes held daily at their center, students are taught a variety of subjects including health and nutrition, financial literacy, soft skills, and more. already being hailed as an inspiration by many, they have also won awards and recognition for their efforts.
