Youth deserve to be heard and seen! Youth are the future of our country and they should be celebrated for their achievements. They should also be given platforms to share their thoughts and ideas about issues that matter most.

At DYP 18A, we believe youth is the repository of wisdom, innovation, and passion that can provide solutions for society. We are committed to empowering these young leaders by providing them with opportunities to make a difference in their community.

Our programs offer young people the skills and resources needed to succeed in today’s challenging economy. Whether you’re interested in business, computer literacy, or digital marketing, there’s a program here that will help you reach your full potential.

In a world where a young person is considered an adult at the age of 18, we believe that it’s time for change. We believe that a young person should be treated as a child until he/she turns 18 years old. At DYP, we strive to raise awareness about this important issue and provide youth with the resources they need to make informed decisions. When you donate to our Section 18A organisation, you’re helping us bring about positive change in our community by empowering youth to be leaders in their own right.

Youth in the slums of Diepsloot and Johannesburg have a lot to look forward to.

The youth project of Section 18A aims to provide them opportunities, skills, and a bright future. In partnership with local government, NGOs, and other like-minded organisations, they run an array of programmes that aim to foster sustainable change in these communities. From education initiatives to income generation opportunities and healthcare facilities, these programs offer something for everyone. And best of all, it’s all free of cost!

Youth today are faced with many challenges. They have to go to school, do chores, study and work. But on top of it all, they also have to deal with crime and violence. They want to live in a peaceful world where they don’t have to worry about safety or being victimized.

The Diepsloot Youth Project is a project aimed at providing a safe and secure environment for the youth of Diepsloot by creating awareness among the masses, providing resources and engaging them as agents of change. We believe that every youth is a potential agent of social change and that by empowering them we can create a better tomorrow.

No child should have to go through what Diepsloot Youth Project sees every day. The lack of basic facilities and education leads to minor crimes being stifled, leading to more serious crime.

DYP wants to change that and has been working hard for over 25 years towards this goal. With a strong presence in the community and youth programs that put kids first, we’re making a difference in South Africa one kid at a time. From pre-school to high school, from health classes to entrepreneurship, DYP offers educational opportunities that build the future leaders our country needs.
