Youth empowerment is important, because they tend to find solutions faster and come up with new ideas. But how can we ensure that the youth in our community is empowered? The Diepsloot Youth Project is one such initiative trying to do so.
Meet Clifford Legodi – he has been a board member of DYP for more than 5 years now, and he has inspired many youth in the process. He has set an example of selflessness, patience, perseverance and commitment. He teaches us all about serving others, and that’s what we need more of in our communities!
The youth of Diepsloot have been able to sit at the table with Clifford Legodi and collaborate on ways to improve their community. They are able to identify challenges and work solutions together, which is helping them take Ownership of their lives and futures.
Diepsloot Youth Project is making a difference in a way that will last for years to come!
