Youth empowerment is hard work, but when someone like Nkhumeleni Ndou leads the way, it becomes effortless. DYP is a unique way of providing empowerment and development to young people in the area. The project focuses on holistic development of its beneficiaries, which includes their social, emotional, and physical well-being. DYP has been around for three decades now, and the aim hasn’t changed over the years – to leave a lasting impact on the lives of youth in Diepsloot.
Nkhumeleni Ndou is an excellent example of that. She strives to give back as much as she can so that she can be a part of making the world a better place. She volunteers at DYP regularly, attends meetings whenever she can, and takes care of all the administrative work that keeps this organization running smoothly.
Diepsloot Youth Project is thrilled to announce that Nkhumeleni Ndou has been appointed as the Board Chairperson. Ndou brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table, which is vital in order to effectively run a youth project. She has solid understanding of how nonprofits work, and she understands that sustainability is key in ensuring that funding is not just pumped into one project but spread across many.

Nkhumeleni Ndou is a dedicated and committed woman who has taken it upon herself to lead and guide the youth of Diepsloot. She sees nothing but their success, and wants nothing more than to see them get all that they deserve. As a result, she has taken it upon herself to organize events and workshops so that they can better themselves mentally and financially.
She doesn’t just talk the talk either – she walks the walk. On any given day, you can find her in one of the many workshops she organizes for the aspiring youth. She is always there encouraging and motivating people, giving them positive vibes as they work towards their dreams.
Her dedication knows no bounds – not even when it comes to serving on a Board like Diepsloot Youth Project! She understands what’s important, she knows how to help the youth grow from strength to strength, and why should she have all the fun?
Nkhumeleni Ndou is a youth leader and businesswoman from Diepsloot. She has been serving on the board of directors for the Youth Project for about three years now, and during this time, she has seen the project grow and take off in many ways. Ndou is passionate about youth development, and when she sees it being done well, she feels satisfied.
