In a world where everyone seeks to move fast, Diepsloot Youth Project is going the extra mile to keep the youth engaged. Founded in August 2016 by entrepreneur Absolom Xulu and CEO Luthando Msimang, this new form of empowerment is changing lives one girl at a time.

The Wot-If? Trust aims to end all forms of gender-based violence, and provide holistic education, vocational training, and life skills programs for girls who have been affected by sexual trafficking or abuse. The team of committed professionals works tirelessly to empower these girls so that they can stand up for their rights, rebuild their lives, and become strong leaders in our society.

We are proud partners in this journey of change because our efforts are driven by a single purpose: to help girls rebuild their lives and achieve their fullest potential.

Not every child lives to see his or her dreams come true. But at Diepsloot Youth Project, we believe that every child deserves the chance to realize his or her full potential. That’s why we provide services and programs that enable children and youth with disabilities to achieve their fullest potential. Through our various services and programs, we help children develop their abilities and acquire the skills they need to participate effectively in school and social life. And through our employment program, we provide young people with disabilities with valuable work experience that will help them gain confidence and prepare them for a brighter future.

We also offer adult education classes so adults who have disabilities can continue their education.

Everyone has a story to tell. Wot-if? is a youth project that encourages people to share their stories so that we can understand our world better and help shape the future for generations to come. The Diepsloot Youth Project’s goal is simple: to open people’s eyes to see the bigger picture by giving them an opportunity to share their stories. When you think of a homeless shelter, you probably imagine rows of cots and stale food. But the Diepsloot Youth Project is changing perceptions about homelessness. We offer a safe haven for kids and young adults who have been forced to grow up too fast. With a strong focus on education and sustainability, we empower our guests to build a better future for themselves.

Our all-inclusive program includes classes in education, life skills, and job training. Plus, our guests enjoy all the amenities you would expect at a modern guesthouse, including a spacious room with a bed and TV, as well as laundry facilities and Wi-Fi access.
