When we decided to open an Impact Kids preschool in Diepsloot, a suburb of Johannesburg, we knew it would be challenging. But we had faith in the ability of our children and their families to succeed, and that is why we are so excited to share this with you!

DYP is a project that seeks to empower disadvantaged youth through education and job training. It also provides them with access to healthcare and social services, so that they may live a life free from poverty and violence. Because of DYP, many young people have been able to achieve their dreams – becoming doctors, engineers, teachers – or even starting their own businesses. Our Impact Kids preschool is just one small part of this incredible movement!

We all know that preschool is an important stage in a child’s life, where they learn important skills like how to navigate the world and how to play. But what about when they’re on the other side of the fence? That’s where we come in.

Our Impact Kids preschool is located in Diepsloot, South Africa, one of the poorest townships in the world. Located on 2-acres of land, our preschool has space for 60 children from ages 2-12 who are living in poverty and need extra support to succeed. We focus on building strong character by teaching them life skills, such as confidence, communication, and mindfulness. By doing this, we aim to create an empowered generation of young people who truly understand the power they have when it comes to making a positive impact on their community and beyond.

Kids need more than an education and fun time to enjoy. They also need opportunities to bond and make new friends, learn about the world around them, and explore their creativity. That’s why we opened our Impact Kids preschool in Diepsloot.
