Innovation is at the heart of our Youth Projects, and we are continuously looking for ways to make it real. That’s why we have partnered with Diepsloot Evaluator Training Program (DYTP). DYTP is a state-of-the-art training program that equips evaluators and team leaders with the tools they need to work effectively in any organizational culture. Through an immersive program that combines classroom instruction, advanced exercises, and field experience, participants learn how to apply the tools of evaluation in a way that helps organizations reach their full potential.|–|This partnership will allow us to expand our programs even further while simultaneously making sure that every young person who wants to become a part of our Youth Projects receives the skills and knowledge they need to thrive. Diepsloot Youth Projects is an NGO that has been working in the area for a few years now. It started out by helping children and young adults to develop leadership skills, but has now expanded its efforts to improve the quality of life for residents living in poverty. Its programs provide access to education, healthcare, and social services.|–|Diepsloot Youth Projects also aims to give these services away free of cost so that people can have their lives transformed for good. By partnering with local educational institutions such as Technikon Witwatersrand (Tut), universities like Stellenbosch University (SU) and Pretoria University (PU), it is able to facilitate job training for youth who are looking for alternative ways of livelihood in our cities.|–|In addition, Diepsloot Youth Projects provides valuable mentorship opportunities through its workshops aimed at improving child development and building leadership skills. By engaging stakeholders across different sectors, they are able to bring positive change on a large scale
The Youth Projects Department of Diepsloot is committed to providing a training program for evaluators and team leaders in order to improve the understanding of young people’s issues.|–|The department has also been working on developing a curriculum that will be utilized by evaluators and team leaders when they visit these facilities.
