Once upon a time, human trafficking was associated with the Atlantic Ocean and exotic countries. Today, it’s no more confined to far-flung lands but is happening right here in our own homes! So why do we continue to ignore this evil crime?

Diepsloot Youth Project is doing its best to end this grave injustice by educating people about it and spreading awareness among them. By organizing workshops, seminars, events and activations all over the country, DYP has been making a mark on various sectors of society. You can say that they are trailblazers in their endeavor!

Human trafficking is a global issue. Most of the people think that it only happens in countries like India or America, but the problem is much bigger than you know! Why? Because every day, there are 200-250 girls and boys being trafficked. That’s right – 200-250 people reading this post are victims of human trafficking! The youth project Diepsloot Youth Project has come up to help these kids find their voice and fight back against this grave injustice.

Diepsloots Youth Project teaches children about fundamental rights, gender equality and respect for others through various activities including storytelling sessions, games and workshops. They also run camps where they teach international law regarding human rights. Moreover, the project runs awareness programs in schools and colleges to educate people about the dangers of human trafficking and how to spot it on social media platforms like Facebook or Twitter etcetera!

Trafficking is a big problem in our society today. To maintain an unequal distribution of wealth, it is being increased globally and within local communities. We are conducting workshops and sessions for children on how to stay safe, how to identify potential traffickers, etc., so that they can lead a crime-free life. We also run youth camps where we teach them about human rights issues, networking skills, etc., so that they can make a difference in their societies later on.
