After the many years of working in Human Resource Management, Ambalika Gupta has decided to expand into a new field – Project Management. She applied for a post with Diepsloot Youth Project and landed herself in the middle of some crazy times.The youth project is doing wonders in terms of looking after their constituents and finding out where they are erring from. With her network, Ambalika is helping bring about changes that will benefit both sides and make life easier for everyone involved.

Youth empowerment is a must that cannot be ignored in the current scenario when over 70% of the world population is under 30. Youth are the future and they have to be prepared with all the skills to lead our societies. We have created Diepsloot Youth Project which aims at equipping youth with these skills by providing them an opportunity to get trained in various areas of life and also connect them with their families and community members.

The idea behind DYP is simple- it’s about giving young people access to opportunities so that they can realize their full potential, and about building strong relationships between young people, parents, and communities. By working together, we can create a sustainable future for all generations.
