We all have that one friend who is always there for us. Whether it’s because they understand our pain better than anyone else, or they simply want to know what’s going on in our lives, we know that they’re always there. And so the Youth Project aims to change the world by reaching out to those who need it most – the youth. The Youth Project started off as a small initiative by local residents in Diepsloot, South Africa. In just a few years of its existence, it has made a huge impact on not just the youths of Diepsloot, but also the entire community.

The Youth Project is run by local volunteers who understand what it takes to help youth rebuild their lives and become active members of society again after experiencing trauma and abuse. They offer them counseling services, food distribution, and other social services that are required for these individuals to thrive. This organization is truly making a difference in their community and showing others how important it is to be kind and compassionate towards others in need!

Youth are the future of our world, and by supporting the Diepsloot Youth Project, you’re helping them realize their full potential. Through our programs, you’re ensuring that they have access to education and employment opportunities, so they can take control of their own lives. Wondering why every youth in your neighbourhood is at the Diepsloot Youth Project? Here’s the answer. The youth of this neighborhood have a shared vision and are working towards it. They want to make their community a safer, more peaceful place to live in. To get there, they believe in achieving change one step at a time. And so, they attend classes on health and nutrition, participate in sports activities, and volunteer for various social works. They believe that all this will help them develop into better citizens who take care of others. Who says you need to be an adult before doing that?

Youth unemployment is growing at an alarming rate nowadays. These days, there isn’t a single person who hasn’t heard of the Youth Project. But, how many of you know what exactly the Youth Project does? Let us tell you!

The Youth Project provides young people with a variety of services so that they can get back on their feet and successfully reintegrate into society. Services include access to education and job training programs, financial assistance, and health & wellness programs. All of this is done in order to give these young people the resources they need to be successful. And everyone who supports the Youth Project helps make that possible!

The youth of today are unruly, disrespectful and impatient. They want everything in a minute. The youth of today is spoilt and want everything at the drop of a hat. And their parents are falling short to teach them right from wrong. In such an intimidating environment, where mistakes may invite harsh punishment, how can we help these kids?

We do it by providing them with an adult who understands their way of thinking and can guide them through life’s challenging moments. Not just that, we teach them the value of work, perseverance and respect in society. We make sure they get connected to the bigger world with organizations like Youth Action Plus which uplift their thinking and help them grow into responsible citizens for tomorrow.
