When you hear the word ‘project’, what does it come to your mind? Little old ladies working for hours together for charity, maybe? But when we tell you about DYP, it’s a whole new world!

DYP is a youth development project that aims to help young adults find their purpose in life. By providing them with a platform to share their ideas and goals on, they are able to take more responsibility in their lives and make the right choices. The program also helps them grow as individuals and become leaders in their communities. With over 200 participants across South Africa, this is a project you don’t want to miss!

The youth project is an inclusive initiative that aims to provide holistic education, health, and learning programs that are tailored specifically for the needs of at-risk children and young adults. For kids who may not have access to other forms of enrichment, DYP provides a safe haven where they can flourish in their studies, develop healthy habits, and achieve their full potential. All classes are taught by volunteers who have experience working with youth and share their love for them.

With its amalgamation of facilities and programs, the Diepsloot Youth Project has became a one-stop solution for the youth in need. It houses a rehabilitation center, a school, a skill development center, and more. The rehabilitation center offers services to help rehabilitate young offenders by teaching them skills that will enable them to lead productive lives. The school offers free education to deserving children. And the skill development center provides vocational training so that they can acquire employable skills.
