When you’re living on the streets, every day is full of uncertainty. You don’t know which shelter will accept you or if you’ll have a bed to sleep in that night.

For many homeless youths, the Diepsloot Youth Project offers a sense of stability and hope. Through our various programs, we provide these young people with the resources they need to turn their lives around. We offer education programs, job training, healthcare services, and much more. Our programs equip young people with the skills they need to succeed in school and the workplace. We offer a variety of courses that cover a wide range of topics, including literacy and numeracy, financial literacy, and health and safety. Our programs are designed with the aim of equipping participants with the knowledge they need to break into the workforce or further their education.

By offering multiple ways for young people to get involved in our program, we hope to provide them with many opportunities for growth and success.

We believe in empowering the youth. To do this, we offer various programs and initiatives. One such initiative is our mission 2 program, where we teach them skills that will help them make their lives better. In this program, they learn how to speak up for themselves, work as a team, and stand up for what’s right. They also develop life skills like time management and budgeting so that they can take control of their lives and thrive on their own terms. But it doesn’t end there. We also help with job search, resume building, interview techniques, etc., so that they can step out fearlessly into the world!
