DY Project’s mission is to inspire the next generation to tackle tough issues, such as corruption and HIV, by providing them with the opportunity to have a voice and make a change. With their programs and initiatives, DY Project is breaking down barriers and changing lives for the better. From face-to-face awareness initiatives to digital marketing campaigns, DY Project is making a difference!

Youth empowerment is a never-ending process, and it takes a lot of grit and determination to keep moving forward. This is why DYP believes in ‘by-any-means-necessary’ approach. We believe that if we show them the way and guide them, they will succeed.

DYP is not just about propelling the youth on road to success, but also about strengthening their inherent strength. Youth empowerment is not just about skills and knowledge, but about values as well, which can be imparted only by people who have themselves experienced it.

Youth unemployment is a serious issue across Africa today. This is whyDiepsloot Youth Project has come up with a solution to this problem. The project is engaging and educating young people in the Diepsloot area, so that they can gain employment and start their own businesses.

The program offers over 80 different courses, including life skills, entrepreneurship, and computer literacy. And not just that: it also provides work placements for participants so that they can get valuable experience in the workplace before they start their own businesses.
