Youth is the future, and a brand new Diepsloot Youth Project has just launched an innovative programme that aims to turn the youth in this township into successful entrepreneurs.

Diepsloot Youth Projects (DYP) is a non-profit organisation that strives to provide young learners with quality education and skills development. And this project has given them everything they need to be successful entrepreneurs! The QI programme teaches students business skills while working on their entrepreneurial ventures, giving them the confidence to grow their own businesses and fly high.

We can tell you why quality matters, but not how it’s done. That’s where Diepsloot Youth Projects come in. From the first day of its inception, DYP has been implementing programs for children and youth that are about developing skills and character along cognitive, emotional and social dimensions.

At DYP, we know that kids learn best by doing. So we have created an engaging curriculum that puts kids at the center of everything we do. This means they get to decide what activities they want to participate in, what projects they want to work on, and how best they can grow their skills while having fun too!

In a region where unemployment is high and young people have limited access to skills training and education, Diepsloot Youth Projects has come up with an innovative way to create change. The program focuses on creating options for young people who want to pursue their passions but lack access to opportunities or the resources they need.

Diepsloot Youth Projects aims to provide young adults with access to resources and tools that will help them reach their full potential. By providing information about careers in various fields, supported by workshops that teach vital job skills such as resume writing, interviewing techniques, and career management strategies and by offering mentorship from established professionals within local industries, DYP hopes to foster a sense of self-worth among its participants. Moreover, DYP strives for continuous quality improvement so that it can maximize its impact on young adults who have high aspirations but limited opportunities.”
