Religion is a belief system which tells you how to live your life. It’s a set of guiding principles that help you make sense out of the universe and helps organize your thoughts and actions. Join us in Diepsloot, where we welcome people of all faiths and beliefs. We want everyone who lives in Diepsloot to feel safe, respected, and accepted. We are committed to creating a positive environment where everyone feels welcome and can participate fully in their community.
Our religion classes teach important lessons about tolerance, kindness, and respect. They offer an opportunity for our neighbors to learn about other religions and cultures, too. And they are a fun way for everyone to get together every week!
Youth gotta be heard! Youth need to be represented! Youth think differently, have different beliefs and have a different outlook on life. They are not just a part of the society but are making an impact on it. We at Diepsloot Youth Project believe in the same philosophy and hence we have tied up with one of the leading organizations for engaging youth in religious activities.
We salute you for showing that youth can change the world by changing their mind-set and how they interact with it.
When religion meets youth, certain problems are solved. The same is true for Diepsloot. Recently, Diepsloot Youth Project has taken a step forward and started teaching religion to the youth in the area. Religion played an important role in their lives, and they wanted to impart that knowledge on the younger generation.
The program includes Islamic Studies and Bible knowledge as part of their curriculum. Regular religious classes are held at different locations in Diepsloot every Sunday where both old and young attend them together. The program aims to build bridges between religions so that youths can learn each other’s ways and concepts on spirituality.
We all know how important it is to take a step back and understand where you came from before taking those next steps towards becoming better people with your community.
When you find yourself in a city that feels like home, you want to stay for as long as possible. But Diepsloot, home to the largest population of Hindus in Africa, has a special charm that makes you want to stay longer. The culture of tolerance and acceptance is contagious and when you add religion into this, it’s even more mesmerizing.
Come live life to the fullest with us and discover the beauty of many religions!
The Youth Project of the Diepsloot Religion Establishment is all set to teach religion in its true sense to the youth of this locality. The main aim of the project is to inculcate the importance of religion in their lives.
According to them, religion is a part and parcel of every person’s life and it should be taught with equal importance. As such, they say that if a child doesn’t know about his/her religion, then he/she is not living up to his potential.
