Youth who have run away from home don’t go anywhere without having their safety in mind. With Diepsloot Youth Project’s Diepsloot Runaway Homeless Youth Training, they are provided with a unique platform where they can find stability and support. The program offers a holistic approach that caters to the needs of youth by addressing their mental health, medical concerns, educational requirements and other requirements at the same time.

The program is tailor-made for homeless youth who have run away from home and has been designed in consultation with them to ensure maximum impact on their lives. Through this excellent training, you will learn how to handle your finances intelligently, how to build credit history for future employability and how to get involved in community events so that you can start building your identity as an adult.

Your kid may be shy, quiet, and prefers to stay away from the company of others. But that doesn’t mean they’re a bad person. In fact, most of us have been in their shoes at one point or another. They are struggling with their identity or understanding the world around them. And when faced with these challenges, kids can fall into different traps, like getting involved with crime or substance abuse.

Diepsloot Youth Project is stepping up to help these kids out by equipping them with the necessary skills for a brighter future. Youth leaders at DYP teach them how to build self-esteem and respect for themselves and others through various activities like arts & crafts, sports etc., while helping them find their purpose in life through mentorship programs and career guidance workshops.

By providing holistic care for youth who are struggling and need a hand up, Diepsloot Youth Project is changing lives one step at a time!

Giving them an opportunity to work, teach and learn is one of the best ways to overcome their hard times. With Diepsloot Youth Project, they are able to turn a new leaf at life by getting themselves integrated with the society and gain confidence in themselves. From running errands to delivering messages, these homeless youth are building new skills that will help them in the long run.

Youth who run away from home for a variety of reasons can be left high and dry on their own. This is where Diepsloot Youth Project comes in. We provide them with life skills that will help them take control of their lives, such as communication skills, financial literacy, etc., and give them the confidence they need to lead a dignified life.

After attending our training sessions, they understand that it’s not too late to make changes in their lives and become self-determined individuals. They will also have gained the tools they need to stand up for themselves when faced with discrimination or abuse by others.

There is no such thing as a normal childhood in Diepsloot. For one thing, children growing up here are exposed to violence and crime on a regular basis. For another, they have to face the reality that there is no safety net for them when their parents pass away or run into trouble. Youth Project is targeting this problem by equipping young people with skills and resources so they can thrive in society.

Their project focuses on teaching youth leadership skills, giving them alternatives to joining gangs or engaging in crime, and developing ways for them to contribute to their communities via projects like building houses and working in health care facilities.
