Our mentoring program is designed to support young people who are making positive changes in their lives. Our volunteer mentors offer guidance and practical assistance to help youth pursue educational, employment, and life goals. We believe in empowering youth to take control of their lives and reach their full potential.

Youth violence is a serious problem in our society. It has become so common that it has become an accepted and normal thing. Youth who are struggling with things at home or with school try to escape these problems by indulging in vices and crimes. But, what happens when you find out that your loved one is involved in violent activities? Do you know that there are many ways of solving this issue?

Diepsloot Youth Project aims at changing social perceptions towards youth violence, empowering them to take action on the issues that matter to them, and transforming their surroundings through sustainable community development. The Youth Project believes every child has the potential to make a positive difference and strives to show them how they can achieve their dreams.

Diepsloot Youth Project is looking for volunteers! The Youth Project offers youth in Diepsloot a safe place where they can learn new skills, build self-confidence and take pride in their community. Everyone who signs up is assigned a mentor who will guide and support them throughout the project. The young people who participate in the Youth Project are proud of what they’ve achieved and want to continue helping others.

They are promoting holistic development through sports and workshops, where children learn to take control of their lives and shape their futures.

Youth empowerment projects in South Africa know this very well and try their best to raise the voices of marginalized young people. Diepsloot Youth Project is one such unique initiative that aims to bring about a change in the lives of marginalized youth by teaching them entrepreneurship, life skills, and soft skills. Kids from diverse backgrounds join classes held at their local community center, where they learn new ways of thinking and problem solving.
