Youth are the future of our world. We want them to grow up in a society that values education and creativity, so we founded Diepsloot Youth Project. In just a few years, we’ve built a school that provides education for all ages and a community space where people can learn, be themselves, and create. We’re committed to creating a safe place where youth can thrive.

Our school is modern and spacious with state-of-the-art facilities. We offer classes from preschool to high school, as well as an arts program for kids of all ages. Kids learn about different cultures and languages, while also developing their creative talents. And our after-school program provides activities for teens to pursue their interests.

We believe that every person is unique, and deserve respect and dignity no matter who you are or where you come from. We stand for equality and diversity – we want everyone to feel welcome here!

Youth spend a lot of their time on social media and the internet, but do you know how it can affect them? According to a recent online survey by Diepsloot Youth Project, nearly 80% of youth have been adversely affected by their addiction to the internet and social media.

According to experts, using social media platforms excessively can cause anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, poor decision-making skills, etc. In fact, these mental illnesses are on the rise among youth today.

We believe every child should get equal access to quality education without barriers. That’s why we’re committed to providing learning opportunities for youth in South Africa that help them develop critical thinking skills and build life skills that will help them succeed in any career path they choose. We offer programs at schools and community centers across the country that focus on character-building and instilling confidence through classes like coding for beginners or financial literacy for beginners.

There is no quick fix to ending youth unemployment. In fact, there’s no magic bullet that can solve the problem overnight. This is why Diepsloot Youth Project has been tirelessly working to ensure that every young person has a chance to thrive in our community.

We are proud of our achievements over the years and believe that we are making a difference on many levels by offering opportunities for unemployed youth, providing them with skills development, and helping them find employment. We have strong partnerships with government, private companies, and non-profit organizations, and we continue to work towards creating a vibrant and inclusive society where everyone feels valued and included. Thank you for supporting us!

Overcoming the odds and building a better future is the motto of the Diepsloot Youth Project. The project provides free education and life skills to children living in underprivileged homes. The team behind the project works tirelessly to change the lives of these children for the better.

Dozens of volunteers come together every month to teach these kids how to read, write, and participate in activities that will help them become successful citizens in today’s world. With your help, more children will be able to access their education and thrive in a safe environment. We are excited about what our partnership with DYP can achieve!

The youth are making things change in Diepsloot. With an aim to empower the youth and make them aware, the Diepsloot Youth Project was set up. Organised by Youth Uprising, the project is a platform for youths to share their thoughts, beliefs and ideas on how to make Diepsloot a better place for all. The project started off with 1 group of 20 youths and now has over 100 groups across all age groups forming a team that wants to see change in the area. They meet every Monday at 6pm at Diepsloot Memorial Hall near the Post Office. They discuss topics such as gender equality, social inequalities, mental health etc., and also form action plans on how they can contribute towards bringing about positive changes in their locality.
