We believe that every child is entitled to a happy, balanced and safe life. Youth is the time when children explore their world and make sense of it. Through Youth Project, we aim to provide young people with an enriching and positive experience that will prepare them for the future. We do this by providing them with access to quality education and activities, creating opportunities for social participation, personal development and skills development.

Our programs are designed to bring out the best in our participants by empowering them to take control of their lives. They enable them to break down barriers and find their voice through creativity, self-expression and leadership development. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to develop their own unique talents so we encourage our participants to be who they want to be – whether it’s a dancer, a singer or a painter – there’s something for everyone at Youth Project!

There are millions of children all over the world who go to bed without having eaten anything or being able to afford for themselves. Kids in South Africa, especially in Diepsloot area, might not be able to have an affordable meal but they sure know how to have fun!

The Diepsloot Youth Project is a place where these kids can let loose and have some fun. They can play sports and participate in other activities that make them happy. The Youth Project runs classes for different skills like music, dance, sports, and more that help improve their mental health and physical health. It is about providing a safe space where kids can feel loved, safe, and valued.

Kids need space to play and run around freely, without the burden of adult supervision. They also need spaces that promote positive self-esteem and encourage creativity. Diepsloot Youth Project is all about creating these spaces for kids in Diepsloot.

With a well-coordinated team, they hold fun activities like kite-making classes, art classes, and sports programs for young ones. The space not only promotes a healthy mind and body but also teaches children life skills like organization, courtesy, etc.

The Diepsloot Youth Project is a registered not-for-profit organization that has been providing quality education to disadvantaged children from the area for over 22 years. With the support of local parents and community members, the Youth Project offers high-quality education programs at no cost to the students. Education is its top priority, and they believe that education is the key to a brighter tomorrow for their students.
