There is a youth in every community who has dreams and aspirations of contributing to the betterment of it. The Diepsloot Youth Project was founded by this youth called Khaled who is driven by his desire to build a better future for him and his community.
In a village where unemployment rates are soaring and educational standards falling, Siyahl’s enthusiasm for life has inspired us all. He is starting small, but he has big dreams, and we believe he will make those dreams come true someday. Along with Siyahl, there are hundreds of other young people like him all over South Africa who are working hard, day in and day out, to improve their local communities. They may not be able to change the world overnight, but they can surely change their communities for the better!
