Neftaly Malatjie founded Diepsloot Youth Project due to a great sense of responsibility and commitment towards the society. In a country where crime is on the rise, more and more teens find themselves involved with criminal activities. They are sucked into the vortex of violence and drugs and end up in jail or worse, dead. There has to be an alternative solution that can help these kids regain their self-esteem and become leaders in tomorrow’s society.
